Lantern Log #15 — Non-Believers
Not every story is told by heroes.
Not every song is sung by those carrying the lantern.
Sometimes the most interesting voices come from the people standing on the other side of the fire.
Non-Believers is the newest album (June 2026) from BADLVCK MVSIC, and one of the strangest projects we have explored so far.
Where some of our previous music has focused on journeys, wonder, fractured worlds, and the mysteries hidden beneath reality, Non-Believers turns its attention elsewhere.
To doubt.
To defiance.
To those who look directly at something larger than themselves and decide they do not trust it, or are better than it.
Across the album, listeners will encounter songs inspired by cults, movements, hidden systems, false certainty, uncomfortable truths, and the strange relationship people have with belief itself.
Some tracks speak through the voices of followers.
Others through leaders.
Others through those who believe they have uncovered something hidden beneath the surface of the world.
Whether they are right is another question entirely.
As with many BADLVCK projects, Non-Believers is connected to ideas that exist throughout the wider BADLVCK-Verse, but this album stands comfortably on its own as a collection of dark rock, orchestral, and atmospheric tracks exploring faith, doubt, power, and conviction from unusual perspectives.
It is not an album about having answers.
It is an album about what happens when people become convinced that they do.
Non-Believers is now making its way to streaming platforms, beginning with Spotify before expanding further across additional services.
We look forward to finally sharing it with you.
Until then...
Question everything.
Especially the things that seem certain.
