Shadows and Strangers: The Fractured Path is the first full-length BADLVCKVerse novel. The beginning of the world from which many of the creatures, places, symbols and artefacts held within the RXLICS Archive originate.
This is where Maxen's journey begins. Where Wisker first appears. Where the Realms begin to crack open, and something very old starts to wake.
A journey into broken Realms, haunted memories, and the code beneath reality.
The Fractured Path doesn't hurry. It breathes. Across moving cities, dreaming crystals, forgotten magic and ancient systems that remember what was lost, two teenagers wander. That’s when they begin to discover that the world around them may be far stranger than they understood.
Follow Maxen and Ren. Runaways caught in the web of a dying world, as they encounter cryptic crystals, corrupted cities, impossible machines and a creature that should not exist... but does.
Dreams bleed into daylight. Nothing is stable.
And something is waking.
