Lantern Log #17—Four Days Until the Song Breaks

The road has been a long one.

After countless edits, rewrites, late nights, and more cups of coffee than we'd care to admit, The Broken Song is almost here.

Just four days remain until Maxen's journey continues, and we genuinely can't wait to step back into the fractured realms with you all. Every book release feels a little surreal, but this one carries a special weight. It takes the foundations laid by The Fractured Path and begins pulling back the curtain on the deeper workings of the BADLVCK-Verse.

While the countdown continues, we've hardly been standing still.

The RXLICS Archive has continued to grow, slowly evolving from a handful of designs into something that feels much closer to recovered artefacts than traditional merchandise. Somewhere in Wales, BADLVCK himself has been wandering the forests wearing prototype pieces, testing ideas, collecting inspiration, and probably confusing more than a few passing dog walkers.

Speaking of Wales...

The sun has refused to leave.

Weeks of relentless heat have left us wondering whether we've become slightly delirious, or whether the Laws have simply decided to rewrite the weather for their own amusement. Either way, the writing continues, albeit with plenty of cold drinks close at hand.

Behind everything you see publicly, the quieter work never really stops.

We're still expanding the BADLVCK-Verse every day. New fragments of lore, forgotten histories, strange doctrines, impossible symbols, and pages of interdimensional code continue to find their place within the archive. Some of it may not appear for years. Some may quietly surface when you least expect it. That's part of the fun.

One story always seems to lead to another. One question becomes ten more. And somehow the universe keeps growing faster than we can write it down.

Finally, we'd like to say thank you.

To everyone who reads these Lantern Logs. To everyone who listens to the music. To everyone who comments, shares, follows, or simply spends a few minutes exploring the worlds we've created.

And a special thank you to our family, who continue to encourage us, support us, and patiently accept that we're often mentally somewhere between a mountain monastery, a fractured realm, and a notebook filled with symbols that probably shouldn't exist.

Thank you for letting us keep building.

The lantern still burns.

And in just a few more days...

The song finally breaks.
